Claddagh Films completes principal photography on Channel 31 . So, our little film has finally left the fold. Fresh from appearing at the Short Film Corner of the Cannes Film Festival, the Irish premiere of the film is at the Galway Film Fleadh, on Thursday, July 8th.
We’ve set ourselves a target of shooting two more short films in 2010, and that’s beside everything else that’s going on. If you’re a short scriptwriter (well, OK, if you’re a scriptwriter of any height) who has some short films in a drawer, we’d love to hear from you. Send us your synopsis. You might want to read this first, but if you’re interested, then so are we. Page lengths between 3 and 15, pretty please.
We are currently in development on two feature productions and a TV drama.
We’re delighted to be a part of the Screen West initiative and hope it helps to make Galway and the west of Ireland into a veritable production Mecca.
